If you are new to Children's Music Academy of Greater Pittsburgh, you may be wondering what we are all about. We invite you to join us for a FREE Introductory Class (FIC) so that you can experience CMA for yourself. We encourage you to bring the whole family so your child(ren) can get a feel for the fun and creative classroom interaction. Space is limited so please register to reserve your spot.We cannot wait to share the joy of music with you!

We currently have no upcoming FICs available for registering, but you are welcome to come and sit in on any class being offered!

Our courses

Junior Course

Our primary emphasis at CMA is our Junior Course. This is a beginner course designed for the preschool-aged child (4 yrs. & 4 mo.) and the kindergarten-age child. This is the prime age to musically train a child’s ear. The duration of the Junior course is 3 1⁄2 years (including the summer vacation months).

Intermediate Course

We also offer a beginner course for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade child called the Intermediate Course, which is 2 1⁄2 years long.
